Donna L. Brown, age 84, of Eau Claire, died Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Mayo Clinic Health System, Eau Claire with her loving family by her side. She was born January 3, 1933, in Larson, North Dakota, to Walter and Clara Priebe. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1950. After graduating high school, she moved to Minneapolis, MN, to work. She met her husband, Ralph Brown whom she married on February 23, 1963. They lived in Minneapolis until moving to Altoona in 1972. She lived in Altoona until 2016 when she moved to Milestone Senior Living in Eau Claire. She worked at US Bank, formerly known as First Wisconsin, until her retirement in 1995. She has been a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Altoona since 1972. Her greatest passion in life was her family and to be together with her daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, and granddog, Gunner. She also enjoyed watching the Packers. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Curtiss) Martineau of Altoona; granddaughter, Mackenzie Arganbright of Eau Claire; brothers, Lester (Maxine) Priebe of Rosemount, MN, and Rodney (Marlene) Priebe of McGregor, ND; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; her parents; her sister, Marlys; brothers, Donald and Robert. The family wishes to thank the staff at Mayo Clinic Health System for their kind and compassionate care, with a special thank you to Hailey, RN, who went above and beyond for Donna and her family. The family also wishes to thank the staff at Milestone Senior Living. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2245 Hayden Ave, Altoona, WI, with Pastor Dan Kohn officiating. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Altoona.
