DONOVAN "DON" JENSEN, 71, of 319 East Riverview Drive, has been called home to be with his daughter, Jane. He died early Monday morning, July 13, 1998, at Luther Hospital. He was born on July 24, 1926 in Boyd, Wisconsin, to Edward and Beaulah (Ball) Jensen. Don married Dolores Sopiarz in Kenosha on November 1, 1952.\r\nDon served in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II. He was founder of Jensen Siding and Windows.\r\nSurvivors include, his loving wife of 45 years, Dolores; four sons, Steve and Gary (Cindy) both of Eau Claire, Robert of Chippewa Falls, and Don of Minneapolis; four daughters, Lynn of Duluth, Donna and Darlene (Bob) VonArx both of Minneapolis and Karen (Shawn) Bergeman of Chippewa Falls; ten adoring grandchildren; four brothers, Royce(Sandy), Wayne, and Neil all of Eau Claire, and Marvin (Rosemary) of Alaska; and a sister, June (George) Zimmerman of Alaska.\r\nHe was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane in 1974.\r\nDon will be sadly missed, but memories of his love, support, generosity, and gentle heart will carry all who loved him through. \r\nMass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m.Thursday at St. Olaf's Catholic Church with Father Frank Corradi officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.\r\nThe family requests that memorials please be directed to the St. Olaf's Catholic Church Building Fund.\r\n
