Doris "Todd" L. Tyler, 87, of Eau Claire, died Thursday, September 10, 2009, at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home. She was born in Eau Claire on April 30, 1922, a daughter of Louis and Martha (Fauser) Nicolet. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School.\r\nTodd married Earl "Toby" H. Tyler on April 19, 1943 in Enid, Oklahoma.\r\nShe worked as the Fashion Manager at Montgomery Wards and then owned Studio One Beauty Shop in Eau Claire until her retirement in 1996.\r\nShe was a member of Hillcrest Country Club where she enjoyed meeting with her friends to play Bridge, as well as a member of several other Bridge Clubs in Eau Claire.\r\nShe was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. \r\nTodd is survived by her daughter, Pam Woodford, and Pam's husband Tim who she loved dearly, of Eau Claire; her special nephew, Kent Nicolet and his wife Debbie of Milwaukee, who Todd thought so much of; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Toby"; her parents; and her brother, Louis "Nick" Nicolet. \r\nPrivate family memorial graveside services will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Rolf A. Nestingen officiating. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral&Cremation Services is serving her family.\r\nHer family appreciated the loving care Todd received from the staff at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home.
