Dorothea Emma (Schingoethe) Dunn, 80,610 Gray St., died unexpectedly Friday, December 29, 1995 at the Clairemont.\r\nDorothea was born December 24, 1915, to Ernst F.J. and Emelia (Haase) Schingoethe in Sugar Grove Township, IL. She grew up there and attended grade school at EmmanuelLutheran School in Aurora, IL. Dorothea married Donald Woodrow Dunn June 8, 1940at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.Donald died in 1987. Dorothea was a homemaker and a mother of three children. She lived in Aurora, Yorkville, and Boulder Hill, IL, before moving to Eau Claire in Nov. 1995, to live near her daughter and family.\r\nSurvivors include one son, Melvin E. Dunn, Newburg, OR; one daughter, Velma R. (Rev. Joel )Hoelter, Eau Claire; eight grandchildren; her foster son, Santosh K. (Cecelia) Reddy, Olathe, KS; a brother, Herbert (Martha) Schingoethe, Aurora, IL; and many nieces, nephews and friends.\r\nDorothea was preceded in death by her husband Donald; her infant son, Richard Donald; her parents; four brothers, John, Ernst, Otto, and Carl; and three sisters, Ruth Schingoethe, Minna Schingoethe, and Alma Barrett.\r\nDorothea will receive Christian Burial from St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Aurora, IL on Thursday, Jan.4, 1996 at 11:00 A.M.\r\nFriends may call from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Dieterle Funeral Home in Aurora.\r\n
