Dorothy H. Brown, 92, of Eau Claire died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at Heather Wood assisted living apartments. She was born February 17, 1913 to Aaron and Clara (Anderson) Mickelson in Eau Claire.\r\nOn September 12, 1936, Dorothy Mickelson married Harry Brown. Dorothy truly enjoyed being a homemaker to her five children. She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church She enjoyed golf, Packer Sunday, and especially playing cards. She was a loving caring person and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.\r\nSurvivors include her son, James (Rhonda) Brown of Isanti, MN; four daughters, Sandra (Tom) Hessler of Eau Claire, Virginia (Steve) Elliott of Eau Claire, Carol Rysticken, and Marilynn Kielty, both of Knoxville, TN; one brother, Don (Mary) Mickelson of Eau Claire; two sisters, Jewell Walters of Eau Claire and Janet (Charles) Hoover of Little Rock, AK; fourteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; sister Winnie Anderson; and brother Aaron Mickelson.\r\nMemorial services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor David J. Irgens officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church.
