Dorothy moved to Eau Claire in September of 1930, where she attended and\r\ngraduated from Memorial High School in June of 1931. On August 5, 1940, Dorothy\r\nmarried Frederic J. Grosvold at St. Martin's Lutheran Church,\r\nwith whom she spent 39 happy years before his death on September 18, 1979.\r\nDorothy was a member of Grace Lutheran Church for over 50 years. She worked in\r\nsales at Bandbox.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nDorothy is survived by her sister, Nancy Jordan of\r\nAlexandria, MN; six nieces; three nephews; many great nieces and nephews and\r\nmany great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederic;\r\nparents, Rudolph Witt and Linda Witt-LeBeau; and her sister, Winifred Firth.\r\n\r\nFuneral Service will be at 11AM, Friday, May 6, 2011, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn\r\nFuneral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire, with Pastor Rolf Nestingen officiating.\r\nVisitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIn Lieu of flowers, Dorothy's family requests that donations\r\nbe made to Grace Lutheran Church, 202 West Grand Avenue, Eau Claire, WI 54703.
