Dorothy V. Irwin, 86, of Madison and formerly of Eau Claire and Menomonie, died Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice Care in Madison.\r\nDorothy was born on June 9, 1919, in Menomonie, WI the daughter of William and Christina (Foss) Schroeder.\r\nDorothy married Roy A. Irwin in Waukon, Iowa on November 16, 1940. \r\nDorothy is survived by her son, Richard (Joan) Irwin, of Palm Coast, FL; two daughters, Sharon Orth of Eagan, MN, and Judy (Timothy) Perron of Madison, WI; four grandchildren, David Irwin, Christine (Andy) Arango, Amy (David) Radtke and Steven (Stephanie) Orth; and five great grandchildren, Alicia, Tristan and Gabrielle Aarngo, Conner Radtke and Danalyn Orth.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, in 1973; her parents; two sisters, Genevieve Thatcher and Sadie Wahl; two brothers, Harold Schroeder and Marshall Schroeder; and a grandson, Jon Irwin.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2006, at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Menomonie, WI.
