Dorothy M. Olson, 88, of Eau Claire died Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born in Eau Claire on July 6, 1915, the daughter of Charles and Thora (Christianson) Berg. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1933.\r\nDorothy married Richard L. Olson on October 18, 1935 in Eau Claire.\r\nShe worked as a clerk for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue until their office moved to Madison.\r\nDorothy was a member of First Lutheran Church.\r\nShe is survived by her three daughters, Marlene (Phillip) Stevens of Eau Claire and Tamara (Robert) Bergman of Minneapolis and Sandra Kaplar of Altoona; eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1979; her parents; her sister, Gladys Gort and her three brothers, John, Glen and Donald Berg.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2004 at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
