DOROTHY ELIZABETH WALTERS, 83, formerly of St. John's Apartments, died Sunday, June 28, 1998 at Dove Health Care Center. She was born August 6, 1914 to Albert and Mabel (Johnson) Anderson in Eau Claire. Dorothy was employed as a laboratory technician for many years at Land-o-Lakes in Eau Claire until her retirement. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Among her favorite pastimes were reading and baking, as well as always being ready to volunteer help to neighbors, relatives and friends.\r\nSurvivors include a son, John, of Eau Claire; four daughters, Irene Barby of Walls, MS, Sharon (Robert) Burt of Anaheim, CA, Carol (Marvin) Bradford of Salina, KS, and Judy Walters of Eau Claire; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Orlyn (Ruth) Wik of Green Bay; two sisters, June (Pete) Lovelien, and Dolores (Donald) McCrackin, both of Eau Claire; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Anderson of Eau Claire and Jeanette Anderson of Altoona; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma J. Everson; three brothers, Robert, Fred, and Norman Anderson; and a sister, Ellen Asmussen.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Joel A. Hoelter officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral home and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. \r\n
