Duane L. Larson, 68, of the Village of Lake Hallie, died at home on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Duane was born in Eau Claire on May 7, 1946, to Lawrence and Mary (Anderson) Larson. He graduated from North High School in 1964. After high school he joined the United States Air Force and served in Germany from 1965-1968 receiving an honorable discharge. He was employed by Uniroyal for 23 years and was a resident of the Village of Lake Hallie for 37 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and watching the Green Bay Packers. Duane is survived by his daughters, Kara Larson (Ryan Kulke) of Madison, WI, and Dana Ernst (Mike) of Waukesha, WI; grandchildren, Madeline and Emily; brother, Dale Larson of the Village of Lake Hallie; and sister, Ann Moss of Deer Lodge, MT. He was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2015, from 1 to 4p.m. at the Eagles Club of Lake Hallie, 2588 Hallie Road (Hwy 53), Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.
