DUANE M. WAGNER, 73, of 2634 Sessions Court, passed away into the Lord's hands on Saturday, November 11, 2000 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born on the family farm in the town of Hale, Trempealeau County near Osseo, Wisconsin on March 1, 1927 the son of Herman and Minnie (Martinson) Wagner. He married the late Delores Rogers on April 18, 1953 in Altoona.\r\nHe worked at Arrow Yellow Cab for 40 years as a driver and later as a dispatcher until his retirement.\r\nHe struggled a long and courageous battle with Muscular Dystrophy. Even though he was resided to a wheel chair for the past 36 years, he raised his children alone, doing the best job he knew how. He was a very loving and caring Dad.\r\nDuane loved country music, going for Sunday drives in his van with his family, and most of all he loved watching his favorite program "wrestling " on Monday nights.\r\nThose who remain are his children, Debra (Edward) Funk of Minneapolis, Anita (Dennis) Franson of Eleva, Dennis (Debra) of Fall Creek, and Michelle (Dennis) Maukstad of Eleva, step-daughter, Pamela (Roy) Hall of St. Paul, MN; eight grandchildren, Christine (Joe) Zborowski, Ben, Matthew, Joshua, Christopher, Amanda, Jessica and Michael; two great grandchildren, Zackary and Max; two sisters, Lorraine (Joe) Borgwardt of Osseo and Phyllis Johnson of Eau Claire; several nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Duttee Johnson.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Father Edmund Klimek officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Washington. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday (Today) and an hour prior to services on Tuesday.
