Obituary

Earl Brownell, 83, 2133 Folsom St., died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at his home. \r\nHe was born December 14, 1917 to Roy and Iva (Lorentz) Brownell in the Town of Drammen, Eau Claire County. \r\nEarl married Emma Anibas on February 10, 1975 in Eau Claire. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 - 1945 in the Tank Corp under General Patton. Earl farmed in the Eau Claire Area while also employed at Uniroyal Tire Company.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Emma; a brother, Elmer (Dagny) Brownell of Eau Claire; two nieces, Janet Cotton and Karen Marten.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents.\r\nFuneral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, with Pastor Norm Miller officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery with military graveside rites. Friends and relatives may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. \r\nThe family suggests memorials be directed to St. Joseph's Hospice of Chippewa Falls.
