EARL F. "PUNK" HEIMSTADT, 84, of 2018 Preston Rd., died Friday, June 26, 1998 at Luther Hospital. He was born January 18, 1914 to Charles and Ida (Lavarier) Heimstadt in the town of Union. Earl married Delores V. Huse in Eau Claire on August 30, 1934. They were produce farmers for many years, and sold their crops throughout the Eau Claire area. Earl also worked at Allen K. Burt Masonry from which he retired in 1977. He was a member of the Westgate Sportsman Club.\r\nSurvivors include three daughters, Beverly (Gale) Zich and Sharon Heimstadt of Eau Claire, and Barbara (Arthur) Herrick of Lena,WI; a son, Steven (Ardell) of Altoona; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.\r\nEarl was preceded in death by his wife, Delores in 1989; a sister, Mabel Buxton and a brother, Irvin.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Ned S. Lenhart officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Monday until time of services at the funeral home.
