Obituary

Edith A. Green, 90, of Eau Claire, died Saturday, February 4, 2006, at the Clairemont Nursing Home in Eau Claire.\r\nEdith was born December 17, 1915, in Eau Claire, the daughter of Erick A. Solberg. \r\nOn August 20, 1933, Edith married Harold P. Green in Eau Claire. She worked in various retail positions at National Presto Industries, Chippewa Valley Sporting Goods, Montgomery Wards, and other various dime stores.\r\nEdith was a member of First Lutheran Church.\r\nOne of Edith's favorite hobbies was designing lamp shades in her home.\r\nEdith is survived by her son, Ronald Green of Eau Claire, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Harold.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 10, 2006, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services Friday.\r\n
