Edna M. Erickson, 91, of the town of Wheaton, Chippewa County died Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at Dove Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She was born in the town of Wheaton on August 22, 1915, the daughter of Edward and Jennie (Winter) Jackson.\r\nEdna married Carl J. Erickson on November 15, 1933, in Eau Claire. They farmed in the Town of Wheaton.\r\nShe enjoyed gardening, sewing, cross word puzzles, playing Skip-Bo, and was an avid watcher of Wheel of Fortune.\r\nEdna had been active in the Prairie View Homemakers, the women's groups at Truax Congregation UCC, and served as Clerk of the Prairie View School Board.\r\nShe is survived by her two daughters, Ruth (Donald) Blake of Eau Claire and Linda (James) Ross of Chippewa Falls; her grandson, Michael (Kelly) Blake of Eau Claire; four great grandsons, William, Benjamin, Matthew, and Jackson Blake; and many nieces and nephews. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Carl in 1980; her parents; and two brothers, Walter and Donald Jackson.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ with the Rev. David A. Huber officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.\r\nFamily requests memorials be directed to the landscaping fund at Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ, 2010 Moholt Dr., Eau Claire, WI 54703.
