EDNA M. HAGEN, 88, formerly of St. Francis Apartments, died Thursday, May 20, 1999 at The Clairemont. She was born November 23, 1910 in Eau Claire to Martin and Embarg (Harsham) Hagen. Edna graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1928. She worked 43 years at Uniroyal, retiring in 1973 as Supervisor in the Cost Department.\r\nShe was a member of The Retreads and was a lifelong member of First Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School and volunteered in the church office. Survivors include two sisters, Louise Robertson and Cora Larson, both of Eau Claire; several nieces and nephews, including a nephew Ronnie (Sandra) Robertson, and a great-nephew, Michael Robertson, both of Orlando, FL.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Herman and Marvin; and three sisters, Sophie Solfest, Dorothy Hagen and Myrtle Stein.\r\nFuneral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church, with Rev. Jeanne L. Warner officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. \r\nEdna was a kind and giving person, always ready to help family, friends, and acquaintances whenever she could. \r\nFamily request memorials be directed to First Lutheran Church.
