Edna E. McDonell, 97, of Eau Claire, WI, was called home to be with her Lord, Friday, July 31, 2009. \r\nShe was born on November 22, 1911 in Chippewa County to John and Alferna (Hewitt) Wilcox. Edna married John McDonell on October 8, 1939.\r\nEdna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all. She was a dedicated member of North Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. \r\nSurvivors include a son, Daniel J. (Jana) of Milwaukee; a grandson, Ross McDonell of Milwaukee; one sister, Loraine Pfeffer of Chippewa Falls; and loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, John, on February 3, 1979.\r\nFuneral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Scott officiating. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home
