Eileen H. Olson, 81, of 2717 Seymour Road, died Friday, April 18, 2003 at Oakwood Villa. She was born on December 9, 1921 in Eleva, the daughter of Henry and Ella (Franson) Tollefson. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1940.\r\n Eileen married Charles I. Olson on April 12, 1942 in Alexandria, LA.\r\nShe is survived by a daughter-in-law, Carol Sue Olson; and two grandsons, Brett (Michelle) and Cole Olson, all of Eau Claire; two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Mikayla Olson; and many other special family members and special friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles in 1991; two infant children; her daughter, Charleen Olson; her son Standish; a brother, Hubert "Bud" Tollefson; and two sisters, Ione Nelson and Betty Storlie. \r\nEileen lived her life putting everyone else first. She loved her church, friends and family very much. Every day she looked for ways to make things brighter for others, whether it was with a joke, a story or just kind words. She left a mark on every heart that she ever came in contact with. To know Eileen was to know love.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at Ascension Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Wednesday at Church.
