Obituary
Elaine A. Johnson, 93, of Eau Claire, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Heatherwood Assisted Living in Eau Claire. Elaine was born on March 23, 1921, in Osseo, to Melvin and Maude Johnson. On June 8, 1941, Elaine married Richard G. Johnson in Osseo, but spent most of their married life together in Eau Claire. She was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church and was involved in many activities with the church. Elaine is survived by her daughter, Dr. Beverly K. Johnson of Idyllwild, CA; brother Bill (Faith) Johnson of Eau Claire; sister, Edna Hagstrom of Edina, MN; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; and brother, Lester Johnson. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave. in Eau Claire, with Pastor David Irgens officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. For online condolences, please visit www.lenmarkfh.com
