Elaine L. McAffee, 78, of Heritage Apartments, 3706 Damon Street, Eau Claire died Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at her residence. She was born in Eau Claire on October 13, 1924, the daughter of Walter and Anna (Hagen) Fleming. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1942.\r\nElaine married Bart McAffee in San Francisco, California on August 14, 1948.\r\nShe was a bookkeeper for the Screen Actor's Guild, Hollywood, CA for 34 years, retiring in 1988. She then moved back to Eau Claire.\r\nSurvivors include; several nieces and nephews; and grand nieces and grand nephews who will cherish her memory.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Bart; her parents; two sisters, Marie Wisotzke and Geraldine Dollase; and two brothers, William and Robert Fleming.\r\nElaine will be remembered as a loving and generous woman with strong Christianvalues.\r\nFuneral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2003 at First Lutheran Church Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.\r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54703 or the American Lung Association of Wisconsin, 150 S.
