Elaine Turner, 92, of Eau Claire, died on Monday, January 02, 2017, at Syverson Nursing Home. Elaine was born on February 25, 1924, in Elk Mound, WI, a daughter to Arthur and Bessie (White) Eisenhuth. She married Richard Turner in Pasadena, CA, on July 1, 1945, and together they raised three children. She was devoted to her family, actively engaged in her grandchildren's lives and regularly attended their sporting events. Elaine enjoyed Sunday dinners after church, music, dancing, traveling to see her daughter, church activities as a lifelong member of the First Lutheran Church, and roller skating well into her 70's! Elaine is survived by her two daughters, Barb Emery and her children, John (Laurie) Emery and Kim Brown, Dianne Gorell and her children, Craig (Dorothy) Gorell, Christine (Jeff) Mattson, Carol (Paul) Oldfield, Charles (Lori) Gorell and Catherine Gorell; her son, Mark (Mary Luhman) Turner and their children, Michael (Jenna Gilles) Turner, Rachel (Regan) Brown, Dan Turner, Dora (Hunter) Bock, and Skip (Cailyn) Turner; great-grandchildren, Sean (Annie) Emery and Alyssa (Kevin) Athey, Gregory (Kimber) Gorell, Cody Gorell, Hunter Oldfield, Kala Gorell, Ella Turner, Sadie Turner, Magnolia Gilles, Jasper Turner, Wyatt Brown and Eddie Brown. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; great-grandchildren, Tyceana Maree Brown and Josie Mae Gorell. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017, at Hope Lutheran Church, 2226 Eddy Lane, Eau Claire, with Pastor Richard Lund and Pastor Roger Benrud officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave, Eau Claire, and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
