Elayne D. Paulson, 85, of 310 Lake St., died Friday, May 17, 2002 at Luther Hospital. She was born on September 20, 1916 in Eau Claire to John "Jack" and Clara (Kolstad) Budrow. She was a graduate of Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1934.\r\nShe was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.\r\nSurvivors include her daughter, Jeanne Ann (Gene) Elkin of Painesville, OH, four sons, Jon (Linda) of Eden, Jan (Kathy) of Ketchikan, AK, Bill (Kathy) of Green Bay and Jay (Mary) of Mequon; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Friedeck of Chippewa Falls and a special nephew and his wife, John and Nancy Schaaf of Eau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James; a sister, Juanita Schaaf and two brothers-in-law, Bill Friedeck and Gerald Schaaf.\r\nMemorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2002 at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Lowell Bolstad officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Chippewa Falls. Friends and family may call 10 a.m. until time of services Monday at the church.
