ELEANOR R. CARROLL, 80, formerly of Eau Claire, died Friday, January 12, 2001 at her residence at Eagleton Home in Eagleton, Chippewa County. She was born on September 15, 1920 to Oscar and Katherine (Wagner) Johnson.\r\nShe married Arthur Carroll at Grace Lutheran Church on June 22, 1941.\r\nSurvivors include her daughter, Mary (Larry) Green of Chippewa Falls; three granddaughters, Cindy (Gary ) Slowiak of Stanley, Lori (Mike) Stanek of Marathon, and Sherry (Martin) Sorensen of Boyd; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, James Johnson and sister, Margaret Gunderson, both of Eau Claire, and sister, Dorothy Johnson of Garden Grove, CA; nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; and three brothers, George, Harold and Richard Johnson.\r\nFuneral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Lowell Bolstad officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call an hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
