Eleanor M. Gillett, 92, of Tustin, CA, died Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at Western Medical Center, Santa Ana, California. She was born September 16, 1911 in Hudson, WI, the daughter of John and Alma (Johnson) Palmer. Eleanor grew up in the town of Spring Brook where she later married Jerome E. Gillett Jr. on May 28, 1935.\r\nShe is survived by two sons David (Linda) Gillett of Bloomington, Mn and Galen (Geri) Gillett of Drums, Pa; two daughters, Margaret (John) Duker of Cross Lake, Mn, and Mary (John) Borger of San Clemente, Calf; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carl Palmer.\r\nEleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Jr. in 1982.\r\nGraveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2003, at Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire with the Very Rev. H. Scott Kirby officiating. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving the family.
