Eleanor M. Larson, 91, of Eau Claire, died Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Heritage Court Assisted Living in Eau Claire. She was born on March 24, 1921 in Colfax, WI, to Carl and Nora (Anderson) Hilson. She graduated from Menomonie High School with the class of 1940 and went on to attend vocational school. Eleanor married Arland M. Larson, June 9, 1946 in Menomonie. Eleanor was employed at Uniroyal Tire Company as a supervisor in the Specification Department retiring in 1983 after 42 years of service. Survivors include, one brother, Sylvester (Lillian) Hilson of Menomonie; one sister, Borghild (Raymond) Morley of Eau Claire; and four generations of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arland in 1996; three sisters, Gilma Weiman, June (Raymond) Schilling, and Carol (Douglas) Olson. Funeral services will be at 12, Noon, on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1314 E. Lexington Blvd., with Pastor James Page officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire. The family would like to thank everyone from Mayo Clinic Home Health and Hospice, the staff at Heritage Court, and especially her caregiver, Karen Stytz. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
