Eleanor M. Webert, 71, of Eau Claire, died Friday, September 27, 2002 at Luther Hospital. She was born on January 24, 1931 in the town of Spring Lake, Wisconsin the daughter of Henry O. and Jennie E. (Jacobson) Hogenson. \r\nEleanor married Guy A. Webert on June 12, 1954 at Spring Lake Lutheran Church.\r\nShe was graduate of Luther Hospital School of Nursing. Eleanor was a nurse at Luther Hospital, a nursing instructor at Chippewa Valley Technical College and was employed with the State of Wisconsin as a state surveyor of nursing homes until her retirement.\r\nEleanor was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she served on several committees, was a member of the Board of Directors of the Grace Lutheran Foundation, and Esther Circle. She was also a member of Sons of Norway.\r\nSurvivors include her three daughters, Julie (Bruce) Sie of Prior Lake, MN, Dawn (Greg) Carlson of New Richmond and Gaye (Chad) Hanson of Savage,MN; seven grandchildren, Carissa, Guy, Kayla and Karrin Carlson, Jennie, Karl and Sam Hanson; brother, John (Marge) Hogenson of Edina, MN; sister, Roslyn (Kemp) Waddell of Madison; many nieces, nephews and countless friends; her beloved pet, Teddy and her three grand dogs, Abbie, Emma and Melody.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Guy in 1992; brother, Kenneth Hogenson and infant sister, Helen.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Rolf A. Nestingen officiating. Burial will be at Spring Lake Cemetery, town of Spring Lake, WI. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the church. \r\nFamily requests memorial be directed to Grace Lutheran Church, Luther Hospital or the American Diabetes Assoc. of Wisconsin.
