ELIZABETH C. BROWN, 88, of the Spring Valley Health Care Center, Spring Valley and formerly of North Oxford Ave., Eau Claire, died Sunday, July 19, 1998 at River Falls Area Hospital in River Falls. She was born February 9, 1910 to George and Leora (Hess) Franklin in Elmwood,WI. Elizabeth married Venon R. Brown in Eau Claire on October 7, 1939. She was a resident of Eau Claire for over 50 years.\r\nSurvivors include many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.\r\nElizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon in 1986; three brothers, Norman, Steele and Marvin Franklin; and two sisters, Eva Mulvaney and Violet Turner.\r\nGraveside Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeview Cemetery with Rev. Kent P. Ingram officiating. Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home is serving the family.\r\nHer family requests that memorials be directed to the Spring Valley Health Care Center.
