It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth "Liz" Lubke (Swingle), age 36. Liz's car was struck by another driver while her and her family were traveling to Gulf Shores, Alabama for a vacation. She was killed in the collision, leaving a void that can never be filled.

Born in 1989 in New Richmond, Wisconsin, Liz made the most of her life. She graduated from New Richmond High School in 2007 and was the salutatorian of her graduating class. She went on to study dance at the University of Wisconsin, Steven's Point, where she graduated cum laude. This led to a successful career as a Pilates instructor, including founding E.L. Pilates and growing it to a studio of over 300 clients in just a handful of years.

Liz married Phil Lubke in 2012 and they moved to Colorado in 2014. They bought their first house and Liz established herself in the Pilates community. After several years and the birth of their first two children, they moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to family.

Liz was a vibrant, thoughtful, and loving person. She enjoyed reading, dancing, playing board games, and spending time with her friends and family. She had a quirky sense of humor and loved to make funny faces in pictures.

A devoted mother of three young daughters, Liz spent much of her time enriching her children's lives with kindness and love. Her legacy will live on through them.

Liz is survived by her husband, Phil Lubke and their three daughters, Adelaide, Cecelia and Josephine; parents, John and Teri Swingle; brothers, Skot Swingle and Todd Swingle; and many extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate Liz's life will be held on April 11th, 2026, at 11am at Renew Church, 416 Niagara St, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Visitation is April 10th, 2026 from 3-6pm and April 11th, 2026 from 10am until the service starts.
