Elizabeth "Betty" M. Skoug, 84, of Eau Claire, died on February 21, 2013, at Care Partners in Eau Claire after an extended illness with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Eau Claire on July 27, 1928, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Pflieger) Hagman, the youngest of 7 children. Betty retired at age 70 and returned to her home town of Eau Claire to spend the rest of her years caring for her dog Heidi, her lawn and flowers, and watching her beloved red cardinals. Betty is survived by her children, John "Jack" Skoug of Eau Claire, Michael "Mike" (Colleen) Skoug of Shakopee, MN, and Patricia "Patti" (Greg) Fisher of Littleton, CO; 5 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and all her brothers and sisters, Theresa Fox, Leo Hagman, Grace Cook, Robert Hagman, Joseph Hagman and Virginia Hagman. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire with Fr. John A. Schultz officiating. Visitation will start at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Eau Claire.
