ELLENORE H. ZANK, 85, of 906 Barland St., formerly of Superior, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, April 5, 2000 at Luther Hospital as result of injuries from an automobile accident. She was born on July 27, 1914 in Augusta, Wisconsin, to William and Esther (Goetsch) Zank. Ellenore moved with her family to Superior where she was raised and graduated from Central High School and attended Superior Vocational School and UM-Duluth. She was a bookkeeper for many years at Western Electric in Duluth, MN, and then worked at Memorial Hospital in Superior as a Licensed Practical Nurse until her retirement. Survivors include two sisters, Evelyn (William) Thatcher of Superior and Barbara (Norman) Rindal of Eau Claire; brother, Donald (Marlene) Zank of Hoyt Lakes, MN; sister-in-law, Rose Zank of Eau Claire; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Ralph, Daniel, David, and Gerald; four sisters, Ruth Walsh, Gertrude and Dorothy Mae Zank and Marion Charbonneau. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church in Superior,WI with Pastor Gerald E. Presuhn officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Superior Township. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. Monday until time of services at the church.
