Obituary

Elmer F. Campbell, 71, of Eau Claire died Sunday, October 16, 2005, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. Elmer was born in Augusta, Wisconsin on October 20, 1933, the son of Eugene Campbell.\r\nElmer married Clarice T Lokken on August 27, 1955 at Pinehurst Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. \r\nHe worked 40 years at Pope and Talbot Paper Mill retiring from the maintenance department in 1995.\r\nElmer truly enjoyed attending his grandkids sporting events. He was real proud of his 78 New Yorker and enjoyed attending car shows. He also enjoyed playing the slot machines and spending time with his friends. His family will remember how he always focused on the best in people.\r\nSurvivors include his wife of fifty years, Clarice; three daughters and three sons, Terri (Albin) Dascher of Eau Claire and their children, Tami (fiancé Brad Alt) and Kayla, Rhonda Pozarski of Chippewa Falls, Carol (Cory) Matthes and their children Cortney, Chelsey, and Cody, Dwight (Jill Radtke) Campbell and his children Rebecca Nayes and Haylee, Jim (Carol Jean) Campbell and his daughter Jannelle, and Scott Campbell all of Eau Claire; sister, Ruby Christianson of Eau Claire; brother-in-law, Roy Lokken of Eau Claire, four sisters-in-law, Norma Heller of Eau Claire, Ardis Welke of Fall Creek, Ilene (Bud) Wright of Eau Claire and Grace Lokken of Oconomowoc; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Jack Pozarski; two brothers, Clifford and Edward; and a sister, Ione. \r\nFamily and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2005, at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home. Private family graveside services will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire.
