Elmyra "Myra" K. Severson, 92, of Eau Claire, died Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Syverson Lutheran Home under the care of St. Joseph's Hospice. Myra was born in Bloomer, WI, on October 23, 1925, a daughter of Frank and Mary (Bohl) Seibel. Myra married Clarence N. Severson on November 24, 1951. Myra worked as a Registered Nurse for Sacred Heart Hospital and Syverson Lutheran Home. Myra was a member of Sacred Heart-St. Patrick's Parish. She was an avid golfer, card and bingo player. She also had her own fantasy football team for many years and was a huge Packer fan. Myra survived by her son, Gary (Winnie) Severson of Gwynedd Valley, PA; two daughters, Suzanne (Larry) Smith of Eau Claire and Ann (Andrew) Little of North Wales, PA; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Fran (Kay) Seibel of Elk Mound, WI; sisters, Helen Kellen and Mary Ann Benish, both of Bloomer, WI, Margie (Harry) Spoden of Brooklyn Center, MN, and Lorie Clemons of Wauwatosa, WI; and sister-in-law, Madonna Seibel of Bloomer, WI She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Art Seibel; sisters, Ilene Boese and Jean Keirns; four brothers-in-law, Al Kellen, Bud Benish, John Boese, and Hugh Clemmons. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at St. Patrick's Parish, 322 Fulton St. in Eau Claire with Father George Thayilkuzhithottu officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2017, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave. in Eau Claire and again one hour prior to the Mass, Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.
