Obituary

EMMELINE L. GRAY, 83, of Altoona died Thursday, February 19, 2004, at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born on June 13, 1920 in Whitehall, Wisconsin, the daughter of Theodore and Edna (Smith) Thompson.\r\nEmmeline married Gerald V. Gray on August 27, 1938, in Whitehall, WI.\r\nShe was a volunteer for the Salvation Army, Bethesda Thrift Store and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Ladies Aid.\r\nShe is survived by her son, Dennis (Susan) of Carson, ND; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.\r\nEmmeline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald, February 16, 2001; her daughter, Barbara Gray in 1962; and two grandsons, Joshua Gray and Jessie Gray.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2004, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Joel A. Hoelter officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Eau Claire. Friends and relatives may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving the family.
