Esther G. Losby, 104, a longtime resident of Eau Claire died Monday, November 19, 2007, at Syverson Lutheran Home in Eau Claire. She was born in Dorchester, WI on October 21, 1903, the daughter of Charles and Clara (Bilz) Habeck.\r\nShe attended business school in Marshfield.\r\nEsther married Milton Losby on October 12, 1926, in Park Falls.\r\nShe worked as a secretary at Park Falls Paper Mill and for her family home construction business\r\nEsther is survived by her sister-in-law, Violet "Susie" Habeck of Park Falls; two nieces, Nola (Tom) Michalski of Park Falls and Vicki (Richard) McKnight of Bonsall, CA; nephew, John (Diane) Losby of Sioux Falls, SD; and numerous grand nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Milton; and her brother, Arnold Habeck. \r\nMemorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2007, in the Meta Trebus Memorial Chapel at Syverson Lutheran Home, 816 Porter Ave, Eau Claire, with Pastor Debra Boynton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Monday at Syverson Lutheran Home. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving her family.\r\n
