Esther F. Stannard, of Evanston, IL, wife of the late Frederick J. "Fritz" Stannard formerly of Eau Claire, died September 24, 1996.Esther was born December 5, 1901, and was married to Frederick J. Stannard for 65 years. The Stannards are survived by his nephew, Col. George L. Simpson, originally of Eau Claire.Graveside Services will be at 3 P.M. Sunday, October 20, at Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire, with Pastor William Heins officiating. Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home is serving the family.
