ESTHER M. WEBERT, 80, of 1906 Woodland Ave., and formerly of Yakima,WA, died Monday, January 5, 1998 at the Dove Health Care Center.She was born March 16, 1917 to Michael and Helena (Lilly) Krafty in Sandusky, Ohio. Esther married Carl A. Webert in Sandusky on March 15, 1941. They resided 37 years in Yakima,WA, where they owned and operated a tavern. After their retirement, Esther and Carl moved to Eau Claire in 1979. She had been active at the L.E. Phillips Senior Central, and a volunteer at Sacred Heart Hospital.\r\nSurvivors include three sisters, Sister Mary Walter,SND of Toledo,OH, Sister Mary Jamesetta,SND of Papua,New Guinea, and Helen Krafty of Richmond Height,OH; two sisters-in-law, Eleanor and Marge Webert both of Eau Claire; many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Carl in 1982; her parents; two brothers, James and Thomas Krafty; a sister, Margaret Fallon; and a brother-in-law, Guy Webert.\r\nFuneral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Eugene Klink officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Town of Elk Mound, Dunn County. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one half hour prior to services Friday, at the church. There will be a 7:30 p.m. public prayer service Thursday, at the funeral home.\r\nThe family requests that memorials, please be directed to Sisters of Notre Dame.\r\n
