Eugene Robert Bartlett, age 42, the good Lord took another angel, the world's greatest father, with an unannounced, sudden death on Monday, April 23, 2012. Eugene was born in Eau Claire, on January 11, 1970, the son of Robert and Irene (Fenner) Bartlett.Eugene married Sally Allen on February 14, 1992. He graduated from Chippewa Valley Technical College in 1991 for Auto-body. Eugene enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He also coached his daughters in T-ball thru ages 13-14 yrs and under level. The girls stopped playing, because they needed "their daddy" to be the coach. Eugene cared deeply for the people he had in his life. Eugene was a husband of Sally Bartlett; great loving "Daddio" of Chelsey Rohland and Brianna Bartlett; attentive grandfather "Papa" of Arieannah Rohland; beloved son of Robert and Irene Bartlett; very, loved grandson of Dorman Bartlett; and close friend of Elizabeth Linden. He his preceded in death by his brother, Brian Bartlett; son, Alexander Bartlett; and his grandmother, Lucy Bartlett. A Celebration of Eugene's life will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave. in Eau Claire with Pastor Carlton Kangas officiating. Burial will be at Popple Creek American Cemetery in the Town of Grant. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. "Your battle is now over; No more tears flowing down your cheeks; No more suffering; Now you are no longer weak."
