Eugene J. La Fave, age 77 of Eau Claire, died on November 17, 2011, at his home under the care of St. Joseph's Hospice. Eugene was born in Antigo, WI to Harry and Marie (Sheehan) La Fave on November 16, 1934. He married Judith Duchac on July 2, 1960, at St. John's Catholic Church in Antigo. Eugene worked for Adlar and La Fave Law Firm in Eau Claire until retiring in 1993. Eugene is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy; his son, Michael (Deborah) La Fave; grandchildren, Joshua, Madison and Brayden; brother-in-law, Jack (Dee) Duchac; sister-in-law, Pauly Duchac; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at 10AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1812 Lynn Ave., Altoona, with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 11AM. Rev. D. Joseph Redfern officiating. Private interment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery, Eau Claire.
