Eugene Robert Haug, loving husband, father and grandfather, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin passed away on July 2, 2021 at the age of 78. Private family services were held. Eugene was laid to rest at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery near Spooner, WI. Eugene is survived by his wife Sylvia and children Scott, Kelly (Jennifer), and Gregory; grandchildren, Samuel, Benjamin, Desmond, and Ren; siblings Sharon Zunker, Jack Haug, and Joann Johnson. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Leona and John Haug Eugene was born and raised in Eau Claire. He served in active duty for the U.S. Navy and also served his community as a firefighter for over 25 years. Gene was an avid outdoorsman and spent much of his time with family and friends on the lakes and in the woods of northern Wisconsin.
