Eunice M. Haug, 90, of Eau Claire died Monday, October 27, 2008, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. \r\nShe was born on October 28, 1917, the daughter of Fred and Lily (Eckwright) Aldworth in the Town of Wheaton, Chippewa County. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1935.\r\nEunice married Sigvald G. Haug on January 3, 1942, in Eau Claire. He passed away January 11, 1977.\r\nShe worked at Uniroyal, and Holiday Inn, both in Eau Claire.\r\nEunice was a member of First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, where she was an active member and taught Sunday School for many years.\r\nShe is survived by her son Glen Haug of Fredericksburg, TX; five grandchildren, Aaron (Amy) Haug, of West Bend, WI, David (Jahna) Haug of Madison, WI, Andrew Haug of Golden Valley, MN, Kayla Haug of Chicago, IL, and John Haug of Fredricksburg, TX; two great grandchildren, Gavin and Maya Haug of West Bend, WI; a brother, Donald "Roy" (Evie) Aldworth of Eau Claire; a sister, Iva Hemmingstad of Rochester, MN; and by her daughter-in-law, Glenda Haug of Minocqua, WI; and by many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sigvald; and son, Gary A. Haug, M.D.; two sisters, Marjorie Close, and Doris Torvick; and by a brother, Max Aldworth.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 30, 2008, at First Lutheran Church Chapel with Pastor John E. Kerr officiating. Family and friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church chapel.
