Evelyn Norma Belden, 82, of Eau Claire, WI, died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Luther Hospital.\r\nShe was born on October 14, 1926 to Harry&Wally Kumferman in Eau Claire.\r\nEvelyn married Kenneth Belden on December 19, 1947 in Stillwater, MN.\r\nShe enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling, spending time with family&friends and her cat Destiny.\r\nEvelyn was a devout Jehovah's Witness for 55 years, and was a member of the Eau Claire East Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.\r\nEvelyn is survived by her six children, Dennis (Sherrie), Marlene (John) Buxton, Darlene (Mike) Lucas, all of Eau Claire, Randy (Patricia) of Ramsey, MN; Michael (Lisa) of Hudson, WI, and Susan (Randel) Brierton of Altoona, WI; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Esther (Marv) Gorton of Eau Claire; a brother, Hank (Dorothy) Kumferman of Eau Claire; and two sisters-in-law, Terri Kumferman &Wanda Belden, both of Eau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; a son, Kenneth Jr. "Jack"; her parents; three brothers, Ronny, LaVerne,&Harryand a sister, Betty Zahnow-Waterman.\r\n"Let his flesh become fresher than in youth;Let him return to the days of is youthful vigor." Job 33:25\r\nFuneral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, with Dennis Queeman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, and an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.\r\n
