EVELYN I. LARSON, 78, 1315 Hawthorne St., died Thursday, June 26, 1997 at Luther Hospital. She was born February 11, 1919 to Charles O. And Ellen (Joyce) Quale in the Town of Wheaton. Evelyn graduated from Colfax High School in 1937. On April 22, 1939, she married Selmer "Sam" F. Larson at Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. Evelyn was a waitress at Wally's Chalet for many years. \r\nSurvivors include two sons: Donald (Kay), Evergreen, Colorado, and Steven J. of Eau Claire; a daughter, Sharon (Alfred) Bautch, Eau Claire; four grandchildren, Brian, Krista, Kari and Anna; two brothers, Douglas (Marion) Quale of Crown Point, Indiana and Merle (Grace) Quale, Eau Claire; two sisters, Ellen Harsh, Eau Claire, and Dorothy (Melvin) Sanders of Elk Mound; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Quale of Lowell, Indiana; three brothers-in-law, Allen (Lenore)Larson of Eau Claire, Vernon Larson , Menomonie and James Stahlbusch of Elk Mound; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she cared deeply about. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Selmer, in 1989, her parents, a sister, Geraldine Running, and two brothers, Charles and Alvin.\r\nFuneral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, at Lutheran Church of The Good Shepherd, with Pastors John E. Hosmann and Cynthia A. Crane officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m., Sunday, at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church.
