Evelyn O. Krigsvold, 91, of Eau Claire, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010, at Dove Healthcare.\r\nShe was born November 23, 1918, to Ingebrigt and Anna (Sunaas) Krigsvold in Eau Claire.\r\nEvelyn was a member of First Lutheran Church and Women of First Lutheran.\r\nSurvivors include her sister, Sylvia (Gerald) Lee of Elk Mound; sister-in-law, Evelyn A. Krigsvold of Eau Claire; several nieces, nephews and cousins. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother, Mary (Froseth) Krigsvold; four brothers, Alvin, Ralph, Einar, and Marvin Krigsvold; an infant sister, Clara, and a twin sister, Ethel Kochendorfer; two sister-in-laws, Florence (Alvin) Krigsvold, and Minnie (Ralph) Krigsvold; her brother-in-law, Robert Kochendorfer; two nieces, Diane Jarrell and Carol Hyke; and two nephews, Roger Krigsvold and Scott Lee.\r\nHer family would like to thank the staff at Luther Hospital and Dove Healthcare for the excellent and kind care she received during her stay.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2010, at First Lutheran Church, in Eau Claire with Pastor Lowell Halvorson officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Church Cemetery in Eau Claire. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.\r\nFamily requests memorials be directed to First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Ave., Eau Claire, WI, 54703.
