FLORENCE M. BAHLKE, 82, formerly of 2213 Roy St., died December 28, 1998 at the Syverson Lutheran Home. She was born on May 10, 1916 to Rudolph and Sadie (Quamme) Emerson in Wanamingo, MN. Florence married Howard D. Bahlke Sr. on January 1, 1939 in Milwaukee. She was a Medical Secretary at the Midelfort Clinic for many years, retiring in 1982.She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Eau Claire Chapter #126 Order of the Eastern Star, and a life member of Syverson Lutheran Home Auxiliary.Survivors include two sons, Bruce of Lafayette, IN and Howard (Germaine) of Eau Claire; four granddaughters, Lori (Ken) Faanes and Missy Wahl both of Eau Claire, Jackie Krenz of New Auburn, WI, and Tamara Bahlke of Birmingham, AL; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Carlson of Plymouth, MN, and Dorothy (Bill) Gaines of Alamogordo, New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; and two brothers, Howard and Robert.Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church Chapel, with Pastor Howard Fehr officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.Friends may call 10 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home is serving the family.Memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church or to the donor's choice.
