Florence R. Benson, 76, of Eau Claire, WI died Thursday, December 21, 2006, at home. She was born in Bloomer, WI, on March 11, 1930, the daughter of Emil and Theresa (Meindel) Fehr.\r\nShe graduated from St. Patrick's High School and went on to attend the College of St. Benedict, in St. Joseph, MN.\r\nFlorence married Donald R. Benson on December 29, 1951 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Eau Claire. They, along with other family members owned and operated Fehr Concrete Products in Eau Claire and Rice Lake.\r\nShe enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bird watching, and spending time with her family.\r\nFlorence is survived by her husband, Donald; three daughters, Denise (Joe) LaPoint , Karen (Roger) Bell, both of Eau Claire, and Luanne (Matt) Capodice of Schofield, WI; and six granddaughters, Sarah&Jennifer LaPoint, Christine and Amanda Bell, and Rachel&Cara Capodice. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marion Baumgartner; and a brother, John Fehr.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2006, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Deacon Larry J. Agema officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire.
