Frances B. Hoelker, 80, of Eau Claire died Thursday, September 25, 2008, at Syverson Lutheran Home. She was born on the family farm in the town of Dover, Buffalo Co., WI on October 11, 1927, to Fred and Eva (Fredrickson) Iverson. She attended Lookout School and graduated from Gilmanton High School as Valedictorian of her class.\r\nOn January 15, 1955, Frances married Henry J. Hoelker of Eau Claire, town of Brunswick at Evanger Lutheran Church in Lookout, WI. \r\nFrances' love for the Lord was expressed in many activities and leadership positions at church throughout her life. A member of Grace Lutheran Church since 1962, she was active in Women of Grace Bible Study, and had served as President of Women of Grace.\r\nFrances had a great love for the beauty of God's creation which she expressed through herlife-long hobby of photography.\r\nFrances was a devoted wife and mother. She and Henry enjoyed traveling and camping with their children, which has left many great memories. \r\nFrances is survived by her husband, Henry; three sons, Bernard (Diane) of Onalaska, WI, Alan (Liz) of Brookfield, WI and Daniel (Laurie) of Naperville, IL; five grandchildren, Christina, Michelle, Jason, Rebecca, and Bryan; and other relatives and many friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2008, at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. David J. Irgens officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Church Cemetery in Eau Claire. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.\r\nThe family requests memorials be directed to Grace Lutheran Church, 202 W.
