FRANCES E. SIRES, 78, formerly of 2032 - 12 th St., died Wednesday, February 11, 1998 at Dove Health Care. She was born August 23, 1919 in Solon Springs,WI to George and Clara (Christianson) McCormick. Fran worked at Gillette Tire Company in Eau Claire . She married Edgar "Hud" Sires in Stillwater, MN and they moved to Klammath Falls, OR. After his death in 1954 she returned to Eau Claire and worked with Ellen Pritchard, and together they started the Development and Training Center. \r\nSurvivors include three daughters; Sandra (Robert) Martin, and Shelia (Jeff) Rude, both of Eau Claire, Sharon of the Northern Center; two sisters, Colleen McCormick of Los Angeles, CA, and Helen Schuenemann of Virginia, MN; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Robert E. Esse of First Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday.
