Francis (Frank or Harp) Hagman, one day after his 77th birthday, passed away February 10, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, surrounded by his family. Frank was born February 9, 1941, to Francis and Gertrude (Baur) Hagman in Eau Claire, WI. He graduated from Regis High School in 1959. Frank served in the US Air Force, was stationed in Germany, and took part in the honor guard and football team. Upon his return to Eau Claire, he worked at Uniroyal until the plant's closing. He then worked at Memorial High School until he retired. On November 13, 1971, Frank married Barbara Brown, in Eau Claire, WI where two sons were born, Gregory and Andrew Hagman. Frank was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a proud grandpa to his 4 grandchildren and was always their biggest cheerleader. Frank is survived by his wife Barbara; sons, Gregory (Jody) and Andrew (Melonie); grandkids Jordyn, Mason, Joshua and Avery; brother-in-law/sister-in-law; Tom and Becky Hotujec, niece, Megan (Justin) Zich; nephew, Bryan (Allison) Hotujec; sisters, Mary Bombera and Patricia (Phil) Grosvold; brother, Jerome (Dianne) Hagman; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Donald and Sister Marguerite. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at St. James the Greater Church, 2502 11th St., Eau Claire, with Father Tom Krieg officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the mass. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Eau Claire.
