FREDRIC A. WIESE, 93, North Shore Dr., died Thursday, May 1, 1997 at Luther Hospital, as a result of a result of an automobile accident. Fredric was born October 30, 1903 to William and Gertrude (Rasmussen) Wiese in the town of Washington. On June 29, 1929, he married Lucy Kriesel in Eau Claire. He worked at Uniroyal for forty years, retiring from a supervisor position in 1968.\r\nFredric was a very active member of Grace Lutheran Church and a member of United Commercial Travelers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening at his home on the lake.\r\nSurvivors include a brother, William (Helen) Wiese of Melbourne, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucy in 1995, three brothers, Herbert, George, Daniel, and two sisters, Laura Nickisch and Minnie deMel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church, with Pastor Barbara A. Koch officiating. Burial will be in Rest haven Gardens Cemetery in the town of Washington. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.\r\nThe family requests memorials be directed to Grace Lutheran Church.
