Gail J. Devney, 69, of Eau Claire died Friday, August 29, 2008, at Oakwood Villa in Altoona. She was born in Eau Claire on September 7, 1938, a daughter of Rex and Vivian (Ludvik) Heuer. \r\nShe graduated from Regis High School in Eau Claire.\r\nGail married Donald L. Devney on October 15, 1977, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church in Eau Claire.\r\nShe was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eau Claire\r\nGail is survived by her sister, Donna Jean Heuer of Eau Claire; brother, David R. (Connie) Paulson of Knapp; niece, Sara Paulson; nephew, Daniel Paulson; and her mother-in-law, Dolores Devney all of Hermosa, SD; and close friends including Ken Novak and Kathy Risler both of Eau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Donald in 2006.\r\nMass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, at N. Dewey and Division St. with Father William A. Dhein officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Eau Claire.
